Mr.
Pearson is a licensed
Professional Engineer
and a certified Professional
Traffic Operations
Engineer with experience
in civil and traffic
engineering, land
planning and project
management. He is
responsible for supervising
the preparation of
traffic and parking
studies as well as
roadway improvement
and traffic signal
plans. He is also
experienced in site
development feasibility
studies, zoning and
subdivision regulations,
environmental impact
statements, site
planning, sewage
disposal systems,
cost estimating,
and construction
observation. He has
provided traffic
and parking consultant
services for various
community planning
boards.
Mr.
Pearson is a licensed
Professional Engineer.
He is a Fellow of
the Institute of
Transportation Engineers
(ITE) and is also
a member of the National
Society of Professional
Engineers, The Urban
Land Institute and
The International
Council of Shopping
Centers.
He
has conducted beta
testing of the HCS
traffic software,
developed by McTrans,
associated with the
1997 and 2000 Highway
Capacity Manuals.
He has provided comments
resulting in revisions
and interpretations
to traffic related
computer programs
and publications.
He has also been
certified as a Worksite
Traffic Supervisor
by the American Traffic
Safety Services Association,
Inc. (ATSSA) and
is an approved roadway
construction inspector
for the New York
State Department
of Transportation.
A
1982 graduate of
Colorado State University,
Mr. Pearson holds
a Bachelor of Science
degree in Natural
Resources Management
and completed post-graduate
studies in marketing.
He has continued
advance studies in
civil and traffic
engineering at the
University of Wisconsin,
Polytechnic University,
Northwestern University,
Central Florida University,
Georgia Tech University,
the Center for Professional
Advancement and McTrans.
He is a licensed
Professional Engineer
in New York, Connecticut
and Pennsylvania. |
